Director of Operations

Job Summary: The Director of Operations will serve as professional administrator and strategic leader for the two parishes in the Pastorate. The Director of Operations will work closely with the Pastor to drive positive financial performance of the Parishes. The Director of Operations assists the Pastor with the stewardship of the human, financial, and physical resources of the Parish, in accordance with diocesan policies and guidelines. This role will have responsibility for leadership of operations staff ( office and maintenance staff).

High School Youth Ministry Specialist

St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, a large, vibrant suburban parish, seeks to hire a part time High School Youth Ministry Specialist. The High School Youth Ministry Specialist will serve as a leader of the weekly high school youth ministry Sunday meetings. The Specialist will also be the organizer of participation in special events for high school youth such as Destination Jesus, National Catholic Youth Conference, Fall Break Mission Trip, etc. The High School Youth Ministry Specialist will work closely with the Middle School Youth Ministry Specialist to create collaborative events for both age groups. The Specialist will attend Formation Team meetings and Staff Meetings when possible.

Coordinator of Music and Liturgy

Saint Bernard Church is seeking a Coordinator of Music and Liturgy to manage and coordinate various aspects of music, to oversee music program and grow the choirs. This person will be in charge of directing music for masses, weddings and funerals as well as the high holy days. Saint Bernard has two weekend masses in English (Sat at 5:30 pm and Sun at 9:30 AM) and the weekend responsibilities would primarily entail overseeing those masses.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus related experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Catholic liturgical music preferred.
Proficiency in voice, keyboard, guitar, or choral performance and some knowledge of these instruments.
Possess respect and ability to uphold Catholic Church teaching.
Able to honor & maintain confidentiality.
Able to pass and maintain diocesan child safety protocol.

Director of Evangelization

St. Bernard Church in Crawfordsville, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Director of Evangelization. We strive to bring all souls in our county closer to Jesus Christ and His Church. This includes our college ministry at Wabash College and a growing population of Hispanics.
Essential Duties:
1. The Director will assist the Missionary Pastor with the pastoral care of the Pastorate to include fostering evangelization, pastoral planning, and supervision of staff and volunteers in the following ministry areas: Lifelong Faith Formation, Liturgy and Music, Pastoral Care and Community Care, Campus Ministry, other Parish Ministries, and Outreach.

The Director supports, accompanies, and equips the leaders in these areas to focus their attention on parishioners and into the community at large as they strive to facilitate making disciples of Jesus Christ, building vibrant communities of faith, and inspiring men and women to be witnesses of Christ to the world.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Theology or related area (or equivalent experience).
At least three years of experience in parish ministry and/ or management of a non-profit organization (preferred).
Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
Fully committed to the Catholic Church's teaching. Mature discipleship evidenced in ability to comfortably witness the faith.
Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team among clergy, staff, and volunteers.
Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office programs, is required.

The Muncie Pastorate is seeking a part time youth minister. This position reports to the Director of Evangelization. This position will serve to support the pastorate to ensure that opportunities for ongoing faith formation for middle school and high school aged youth and a comprehensive youth ministry program are provided for the pastorate. This person will work with the Pastor and Director of Evangelization to ensure that necessary collaboration and cross training occurs among all areas of ministry and discipleship.

The youth minister serves the pastorate by building and overseeing a ministry team that will support pastoral needs of the youth of the parish (Junior High and High School). Campus Minister (full-time)
St. Francis of Assisi / Muncie Pastorate

The Muncie Catholic Pastorate is searching for a Full Time Campus Minister that is a spirit-centered, enthusiastic individual to lead its Catholic campus ministry at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, which serves the students and faculty of Ball State University. We are looking for a person who has a clear call to campus and young adult ministry. The candidate should have the ability to develop and implement a plan for campus ministry, including faith formation, facilitating retreats and spiritual programming, recruiting student leaders, event planning, budget management, leading our resident intern program, and more. The ideal candidate will create an environment where St. Francis Parish becomes home to the spiritual and intellectual lives, apostolic mission, and Christian maturity of students.
The Campus Minister is a Full Time position with a complete Benefit Package that includes Health, Dental and Vision; 403b Retirement; and paid vacation, holidays and personal days. The position will collaborate with all pastorate staff, particularly the Pastor, parochial vicars, Focus missionaries, and the Director of Evangelization, Family Life, and Pastoral Ministries.
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, committed to prayer and a desire to know God, who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Catholic Theology/Religious Studies or equivalent. The candidate should have a strong desire and ability to evangelize young adults. This candidate will also have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and administrative skills. The applicant must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule (frequent evenings and weekends) while also holding regular office hours during the week. The ability to pass and maintain diocesan child safety protocol is essential.
