Fr. Derek Aaron is originally from St. Joan of Arc in Kokomo, IN. The youngest of four boys, he attended Taylor Community Schools and graduated from Purdue University in 2006. He worked for almost four years in sales for General Electric Supply in Indianapolis, IN. He entered the seminary in August 2010 at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. He was ordained a priest in 2016 and served as a parochial vicar at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Carmel and St. Maria Goretti in Westfield. Currently, Fr. Aaron serves full-time as the director of vocations for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.
