There are a number of Catholic organizations whose purpose is to promote Christian Unity.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs (SEIA) consists of bishops who specialize in relations between Christians and interfaith groups. The activity of this arm of the USCCB is multi-faceted. Please visit the site in order to gain an appreciation of the commitment of our Bishops to ecumenism and interreligious relations.
The SEIA newsletter is published monthly. The newsletter includes links to press releases, latest video resources, updates on the bishops' ecumenical and interreligious dialogues, event reminders, and photos. Pastoral materials for parish use published by SEIA can be purchased through the USCCB Publications website.
The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (PCPCU), which Pope John XXIII established during the Second Vatican Council, exercises a double role.
Ecumenical Trends is a monthly publication of GEII.
The Missionary Society of St. Paul the Apostle, known as the Paulist Fathers, has an office of Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations. The Office has three dimensions: Information, Representation, and Action.
