The Office for Stewardship and Development promotes and encourages Christian stewardship as a way of life by cultivating parish and individual stewardship as a first priority and provides a comprehensive plan for diocesan and parish stewardship initiatives.
The Associate Director's office oversees the planning, preparation of materials, training of volunteers, promotion and the direction of the biennial Fruitful Harvest Appeal, the annual Seminarian Fund Appeal, and consults with parishes wishing to conduct capital campaigns, institutional development, and diocesan capital campaigns.
The Director's office includes the marketing and direction of the Lafayette Diocesan Foundation, Inc., as a way to help fund the future needs of the diocese, its parishes and institutions. Provides assistance to parishes and other pastoral offices seeking grant funding. In addition providing assistance to individuals and parishes with Charitable Gift Annuities and Endowments.

As Director, Bob assists parishes in selecting and implementing stewardship programs and coordinates stewardship committees, the Lafayette Diocesan Cemetery Commission, the Board of Directors of the Lafayette Diocesan Foundation, Inc.
In the area of Planned Giving, Bob works with parishioners and pastors in their desire to leave a Catholic legacy both during their life time and at death. The Lafayette Diocesan Foundation, Inc. contains funds to meet these desires and also offers the opportunity to add new funds for specific wishes. Working out of the Office of Stewardship and Development allows him to assist the Diocese's 62 parishes with their stewardship programs, all of this coming together and providing services for present and future Catholics of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.
As Associate Director, Kathy has the overall responsibility for directing the biennial Fruitful Harvest campaign and the annual Seminary Fund Appeal, assisting parishes with the planning and implementation of capital stewardship campaigns, administrator and manager of the diocesan donor database as well as donor relations. She coordinates the efforts and activities of the Fruitful Harvest Steering Committee, plans and implements major donor events related to development activities, supervises volunteers assisting with campaign data entry, major events or other development work processes to assist parishes and diocesan institutions.
Karla provides administrative support for the office, data entry in the diocesan database, donor correspondence and other clerical tasks.
Carolyn provides administrative support to the Office for Administration as well as the Office for Stewardship and Development, data entry in the diocesan database, and other clerical tasks.
