Project Rachel
Post Abortion Ministry
Project Rachel is named for the Old Testament figure that wept over the loss of her child. Like Rachel, many women discover that the loss experienced after an abortion leaves them traumatized and inconsolable. In their experience of pain and regret, they long for a merciful and compassionate response from the Catholic Church. Project Rachel is such a response. It is an outreach of the Catholic Church to women who are struggling with the aftermath of abortion. You can reach Project Rachel at 877-522-3300 or 765-477-7706.
Project Gianna
Pregnancy Assistance Ministry
Project Gianna is a diocese based pregnancy assistance ministry; a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Lafayette-Office for Family Life. It is named for St. Gianna, a special patron of women who wish to become pregnant, for all pregnant women, and especially for those women who are experiencing pre-birth difficulties.
During her life, St. Gianna was a doctor, wife and mother of four who was devoted to God and the salvation of souls by living her Catholic Faith. Although she could have saved her life by abortion, on April 28, 1962, she heroically gave her life in order that her last daughter might live.
Project Gianna helps pregnant women in need spiritually, physically, emotionally, and materially. You can reach Project Gianna at 888-583-2303 or 765-583-2303.
